Location

Our house is located in Selva Val Gardena, at the entrance of the Vallunga/Langental, which is ideal for walking, jogging and cross-country skiing.

 

In summer, our house is an ideal starting point for various hikes and walks in the Puez-Odle Nature Park, as well as for MTB or E-MTB tours.

In winter you start on the skis in front of the house and go directly to the ski slope and the ski lift, and then come back home on the skis.

 

A bus stop in summer and winter is located opposite our house. The centre of Selva Val Gardena is just a 10-minute walk away.

How to get there

By car

The fastest way to reach Chalet Helene in Selva/Wolkenstein is via the A22 Brenner motorway. From the north via Innsbruck-Brenner-Chiusa/Klausen, from the south via Verona-Bolzano/Bozen-Chiusa/Klausen. Take the next exit Chiusa/Val Gardena. After about 20 minutes you will reach Ortisei/St. Ulrich and a few kilometers further on S. Cristina/St. Christina and Selva/Wolkenstein. Our house is located at Dantercepies Str. 83.

By plane

The nearest airports are in Bolzano/Bozen, Innsbruck, Verona, Munich and Milan. From there you can take the car, train or taxi directly to Val Gardena.

By train

There are good train connections from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium. They lead via Munich, Innsbruck, Brenner to Bressanone/Brixen or Bolzano/Bozen. Some trains also stop in Chiusa/Klausen or Ponte Gardena/Waidbruck. From there, a well-organized bus service will take you to Val Gardena several times a day.

By bus

In South Tyrol there is a well-functioning bus system. From Bolzano/Bozen, Merano/Meran, Bressanone/Brixen and all other South Tyrolean municipalities you can easily and comfortably get to Chalet Helene in Selva/Wolkenstein.
